Self-assessment

Help-Seeking Behaviour (AHSQ + GHSQ)

This assessment combines the Actual Help-Seeking Questionnaire (AHSQ) and the General Help-Seeking Questionnaire (GHSQ) to capture both your recent behaviour and your future intentions.

Section A asks about help you have actually sought over the past month, while Sections B and C measure how likely you are to reach out for different sources in the future, including during suicidal distress.

Consider each source honestly. Higher scores reflect a stronger tendency to reach out, which is protective and helps normalize help-seeking.
